Kicks Partners with Visual Art to Enhance Customer Experience through Digital Displays

June 5, 2023

KICKS, the leading beauty retailer in the Nordics, is set to elevate the in-store experience with the help of Visual Art, an end-to-end provider of digital signage solutions. Following an extensive procurement process, Visual Art has been selected to install over 1,300 screens across 230 KICKS stores in Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

Recognizing the significance of a well-executed digital strategy, KICKS aims to create a more immersive and engaging environment for its customers. The implementation of digital displays will offer a platform for inspiration and deliver relevant messages to shoppers. With years of experience in digital spaces, KICKS understands the value of leveraging technology to enhance both customer satisfaction and sales performance.

– We are delighted to have Visual Art’s support in this project. The digital displays provide us with a powerful tool to communicate inspiring information, from product launches to enticing promotional offers. They also contribute to a dynamic in-store experience, says Charlotta Tibbelin, Retail Communication & Concept Manager at KICKS.

Aligning with KICKS’ strategy to bridge the gap between physical stores and e-commerce, the digital solution enables seamless communication of inspiring content and product assortment. With Visual Art’s digital signage platform, KICKS gains the flexibility to disseminate relevant information nationwide or target specific stores as needed. The focus is on creating a joyful and valuable experience for in-store visitors, with a wide range of news, offers, information, and events communicated through the screens.

– KICKS is truly at the forefront, placing the customer and their experience as the top priority. They have a clear vision of how to optimize the utility and effectiveness of the screens over time. From the initial procurement process to the installation, this has been an enlightening journey, and we are excited to embark on this partnership, says Andreas Ström, Chief Revenue Officer at Visual Art.

Each KICKS store will be equipped with a minimum of six digital displays, strategically placed at entrances, campaign tables, and fragrance departments for both women and men. The agreement includes a license to use Visual Art’s proprietary CMS Signage Player, enabling KICKS to easily manage and control all content centrally. This ensures the right content is delivered at the right place and time, enhancing the overall customer experience.

The screen installation project commenced at the beginning of the year, and all screens are now operational. The partnership between KICKS and Visual Art is expected to span several years, with an estimated value exceeding 15 million SEK over a five-year period.
