Friskis&Svettis Launches In-Store Retail Media Network with Visual Art

September 11, 2024

Friskis, one of Sweden's largest fitness organisations, is taking a step forward in digital advertising by launching its own in-store retail media channel in collaboration with Visual Art. This initiative offers an opportunity to enhance the member experience while creating new revenue streams.

Through the partnership, Friskis will introduce digital displays across its gyms nationwide, showcasing both internal messages and external advertisements. This move places Friskis among the first in the Nordic region to incorporate a retail media strategy within its fitness centres.

– “Our collaboration with Friskis is an exciting opportunity, and we’re pleased to support them on this journey,” says Andreas Lind, Retail Media Strategist at Visual Art.

Friskis views the retail media channel as a strategic way to engage members and strengthen the business.

– “We trust Visual Art’s expertise, and we’re confident that this collaboration—featuring engaging content and relevant offers—will bring value to our members and the organisation,” says Christer Ferngren, Business Development Manager at Friskis.

The rollout of the new media channel is set to begin this autumn, with the first displays appearing in select Friskis gyms in the coming months.
