Holy Greens Enhances Guest Experience with Digital Menu Boards
November 5, 2024
Holy Greens, a sustainable and healthy salad bar, has partnered with Visual Art to bring digital signage to all 29 locations across Sweden. Holy Greens will implement Visual Art’s award-winning Digital Signage Software Signage Player through this collaboration, introducing digital menu boards designed to elevate the guest experience, streamline ordering, and enable dynamic pricing for their diverse selection of sustainably sourced meals.
Holy Greens, which opened its first salad bar in 2013, has expanded its presence across major Swedish cities, including Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg, with a strong commitment to providing healthy and environmentally friendly meals. By partnering with Visual Art, Holy Greens seeks to make the experience even more convenient and enjoyable for their guests while giving their staff more time to focus on service.
The decision to implement digital menu boards followed a successful proof-of-concept pilot this past summer. Holy Greens saw a positive impact on service speed and a noticeable sales uplift during the pilot. The pilot also revealed that employees had more time to engage with guests, enhancing the overall guest experience by reducing the time spent explaining menu options.
– “We are thrilled to partner with Visual Art to bring this innovative digital solution to our restaurants. At Holy Greens, we aim to make it easy for people to eat sustainably and healthy without compromising on taste. With digital menu boards, we can streamline the ordering process and provide our guests with more transparency on the climate impact of their food choices,” says David Egonsson, Founder & Concept Development at Holy Greens.
The rollout, including five screens from LG Electronics in each restaurant, will feature Visual Art’s Digital Signage Software Signage Player with a dynamic and flexible API-first structure. This will allow Holy Greens to adjust prices dynamically and tailor their menus based on customer preferences and trends, keeping them at the forefront of digital innovation in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector. A dedicated “Sustainability Screen” in each location will also be converted to Visual Art’s software, offering guests real-time insights into the impact of climate change on their meal choices.
– “Holy Greens is a fantastic addition to our client portfolio. With Signage Player, we provide Holy Greens with a robust platform that supports dynamic pricing and real-time content updates. Our goal is to help Holy Greens continue to deliver on their commitment to sustainability while creating an enhanced guest experience,” says Andreas Ström, Chief Revenue Officer at Visual Art Group.
Holy Greens and Visual Art have entered a five-year partnership. The full implementation is expected to generate recurring annual revenue for Visual Art. In the coming months, the new digital menu boards are anticipated to be operational across all Holy Greens locations.
