Digital Menu Boards

Bröd & Salt partners with Visual Art to elevate the guest experience

March 7, 2023

The artisanal bakery Bröd & Salt invests in rapid growth and chooses to update its cafés with digital signage to drive sales and operational efficiency. Visual Art is entrusted to deliver and manage the implementation.

Bröd & Salt has expanded greatly recently and opened cafes in several new locations in Stockholm. Recently, the chain has also opened in Uppsala, thus making its first establishment outside of Stockholm. As part of the new initiative, digital displays are being built into the cafes, and Visual Art has been trusted to be involved from strategic placement to the selection of hardware and content.

– Bröd & Salt focuses a lot on the customer’s experience when visiting the cafes and understands the importance of how, and why, you should display products in a certain way. By using digital displays, product images often appear more appealing and it is possible to adapt offers depending on the time of day. It’s always extra fun with customers who understand both needs and possibilities, says Andreas Ström, Chief Revenue Officer at Visual Art.

Visual Art has developed a solution for digital menu boards and in addition to the menu boards that meet the customer, there is also a specially designed screen to drive inspiration and sales outside the store with a digital display in the shop window.

– Visual Art has been a fantastic partner in this. In everything from strategic advice to actual installation. Their expertise in the field means that we feel confident that the solution not only works today but also that it should be able to work for many years to come, says Annelie Vest, Marketing Manager at Bröd & Salt.

In the installation, Visual Art stands for hardware, digital signage software, and content. The software is Visual Art’s own Signage Player which enables all content to be controlled from a central location and thus ensures the right content, in the right place, at the right time.
